Seven-day Return and Exchange for Unopened Products

imKey PTE. LTD. offers a seven-day return or exchange policy for products received by the customer, provided the original packaging remains unopened.

Definition of Unopened Packaging:

• Shipping box or tamper-evident bag containing the product: Can be opened and is not considered part of the original packaging.
• Plastic seal: Must remain unopened.
• Product box packaging: Must remain unopened with the tamper-proof seal intact.

One-Year Limited Warranty

imKey PTE. LTD. voluntarily provides a one-year limited warranty for its manufactured products. Given the specific security requirements of hardware wallets, to ensure quality service and minimize supply chain security risks, imKey offers product replacement (no repair service) within the one-year warranty period in the event of the following defects:

• Product quality defects: Defects in craftsmanship or materials.
• Packaging damage defects: Significant damage to the external packaging upon receipt, such as a soaked outer box, torn seal, or signs of tampering.

The following cases are NOT covered under imKey’s warranty:

• Damage due to accidents or external factors beyond imKey’s control.
• Natural wear and tear of consumable components, such as batteries.
• Minor surface damage that does not affect product functionality.
• Normal wear and aging of the product.
• Loss of the product.
• Any negligence, deliberate misuse, or improper handling.
• Loss of any digital assets (please contact us directly for assistance by submitting a ticket or emailing our support team at support@imkey.im).
• Any other defects or damages not covered under the warranty policy.

If the product falls under the warranty criteria mentioned above, imKey offers a replacement service but does not provide any repair services.

Shipping Logistics

Different international logistics are chosen depending on whether the product contains batteries and the situation in each region.

Shipments to Mainland China and Hong Kong/Macau: The default courier is SF Express, and other courier: JD/EMS will be selected based on shipping priority and actual conditions.

Shipments to other regions: Cross-border logistics will be arranged based on specific regions, subject to actual shipment.

Shipping Origin

The packages are shipped from Mainland China Hangzhou, Taiwan Taipei, or Singapore.

Shipping Time

In general, shipments will be made within 72 hours, and the logistics tracking number will be updated. Slight delays are possible during holidays.

We will arrange logistics as soon as possible, but due to uncertainties of cross-border logistics, please understand if there are delays.

Order and Logistics Inquiries

After the order is shipped, the Shopify store system will send a shipping reminder email to the order's reserved email address.

In the email, you can check the logistics information through the tracking number and the inquiry website.

If you need help checking the order/logistics information, contact us through the user support email support@imkey.im.

Postage Policy

The shipping cost will be handled differently depending on the transportation cost in each region. In principle, the imKey team will bear the shipping cost or most of the shipping cost.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the Service is provided, without express written permission by us.

The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms of Service.

We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without prior notice, at our sole and absolute discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time without prior notice. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

SECTION 6 - ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole and absolute discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e‑mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by unauthorised dealers, resellers or distributors.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we may complete your transactions promptly and contact you as necessary.

You further agree that your comments will not contain libelous or otherwise unlawful, abusive or obscene material, or contain any computer virus or other malware that could in any way affect the operation of the Service or any related website. You may not use a false e‑mail address, pretend to be someone other than yourself, or otherwise mislead us or third-parties as to the origin of any comments. You are solely responsible for any comments you make and their accuracy. We take no responsibility and assume no liability for any comments posted by you or any third-party.

In no case shall imKey, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, consultants, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the Service, or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the service or any product, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the Service, even if advised of their possibility. Because some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or the limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such states or jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless imKey and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, consultants, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.

SECTION 15 - SEVERABILITY

In the event that any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms of Service, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.

SECTION 16 - TERMINATION

The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes.

These Terms of Service are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these Terms of Service at any time by notifying us that you no longer wish to use our Services, or when you cease using our site.

If in our sole judgment you fail, or we suspect that you have failed, to comply with any term or provision of these Terms of Service, we also may terminate this agreement at any time without notice and you will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination; and/or accordingly may deny you access to our Services (or any part thereof).

SECTION 17 - NO WAIVER

The failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

SECTION 18 - GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. And the courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms of Service (including a dispute regarding the existence, validity or termination of these Terms of Service).

Purpose

This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) sets out the ways in which imKey Pte. Ltd. (“imKey”) collects, uses, discloses and retains personal information in order to carry out our activities and operations; and the measures we take to protect your personal information. The Notice is designed to meet the requirements of Singapore’s personal data protection laws, specifically under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012.

Application of Notice

When you make a purchase on the imKey website and Shopify store, you agree to the terms of this Notice as updated from time to time. This Notice applies to all imKey customers and newsletter subscribers. From time to time, imKey will update this Notice to ensure that this Notice is consistent with any changes in legal requirements. You are encouraged to periodically review this Notice to be informed of how imKey is protecting your personal information.

Types of Personal Information collected

Our Notice applies to personal information that imKey collects, uses and discloses in order to carry out imKey’s activities and operations; and to enable you to access our website and Shopify store. Personal information is any information that can identify an individual or information about an identifiable individual, such as an individual’s home address, telephone number, or a customer’s transaction activity in relation to imKey. When an imKey customer makes a purchase, we collect identifying information, such as (but not limited to) the customer’s name, delivery address, telephone number, email address. To process payment, an imKey customer may provide us with their credit card number and expiry date. When a visitor of the imKey website or an imKey customer subscribes to the imKey newsletter, we collect the individual’s email address.

This Notice does not apply to aggregated information which summarises statistical information about groups of members, and which does not include name, contact information, or any other information that would allow any particular individual to be identified.

How we collect your Personal Information

Much of the personal information we collect comes from you, such as when you open an account on the imKey Shopify store, make a purchase on the imKey Shopify store or subscribe to the imKey newsletter. We collect personal information, unless such is prohibited by legislation, when you contact us, register with us or when you require our services.

Use of your Personal Information

imKey collects and uses your personal information to operate the imKey’s website and the imKey Shopify store, deliver the goods and/or services you have requested, and to administer imKey’s activities. imKey may also your personally identifiable information to inform you of products or services available from the imToken group*. In addition, imKey may contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.

imKey does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. imKey may share data with trusted partners in order to process your purchases and/or transactions, to help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to imKey, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

imKey keeps track of the websites and pages our customers visit within imKey, in order to determine what imKey services are the most popular. If you are only browsing the imKey website, imKey does not capture data that allows it to identify you individually.

Where permitted under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012, your personal information may be disclosed to imKey’s Preferred Partners in connection with services offered by these Preferred Partners. Preferred Partners are organisations which share a business relationship with imKey in areas such as marketing collaborations and co-branding.

However, please be assured that we do not disclose your personal information to our Preferred Partners for the purposes of the above unless your consent is expressly obtained. 

Security of your Personal Information

imKey secures your personal information from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. imKey secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. imKey will not share your personal information with third parties without your permission, except if required by law or a court order to do so.

Withdrawing consent

The collection and handling of certain personal information is necessary for processing your requested transactions. You may, however, opt out of the collection and/or handling of your personal information for other purposes — including opting out of receiving marketing and promotional material from the imToken group*. You can do so at any time by choosing to unsubscribe from electronically-received publications. If you opt out as mentioned above, you will no longer receive any communications from imKey or the imToken group in relation to these marketing and promotional offers but you will continue to receive communications from imKey relating to your purchases.

Access, accuracy and correction of your Personal Information

We rely on you to ensure that your profile and contact information is accurate. Please let us know of any changes to your personal information.
