imKey will be sold in South Korea, Indonesia, Singapore, the US, China Mainland, and Chinese Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan during the pre-sale period. imKey will be sold to other regions later.
2. What are the differences between imKey Standard and imKey Limited?
imKey adopts the CC EAL 6+ security chip + ultra-thin device + Bluetooth connection + support for imToken. The Limited version is produced and launched under the joint name of the world-renowned blockchain company and imToken. 999 Limited version devices will be launched worldwide during the first stage, with Mnemonic word security box and leather card case offered as a gift.
3. What digital currencies does imKey support?
imKey currently supports BTC, ETH, EOS, and all digital assets supported by imToken 2.0. In the future, imKey will support more digital assets through imToken upgrades.
4. Will imKey support upgrades, and how does imKey upgrade?
imKey supports automatic upgrades at the imToken user end. When imKey is connected, imToken will automatically detect the latest version of imKey and upgrade it.
5. Will there be any procedural fee when users trade with imKey?
imKey is a tool that generates and saves the private key, and it does not store any digital assets. All digital assets in users' wallet are saved on the blockchain. Any transactions sent from imKey is done on the chain, and no fee will be charged except the miner's fee during the transaction.
6. Does users need to back up the wallet when using imKey?
Users need to back up the wallet. The private key of the wallet is stored in the secure chip. If users do not back up the wallet, the wallet cannot be recovered if the physical wallet is damaged or lost by accident, and users will lose the digital assets in the wallet forever. In order to safeguard personal digital assets, users are required to back up and carefully look after their wallet.
